About the event

We have over 200 competitors from all over the world coming to compete in the biggest championship yet. With competition over 3 days in 5 categories, there is plenty of opportunity to see what they can do.

Friday: All Participants Round 1 and Playoffs

Saturday: Mens and Womens Round 2 and Quarter Finals. Teams competition starts.

Sunday: All categories Semi-Finals and Finals.

(This may be subject to change depending on how the competition times go)

To add to the competition, there will be:

  • Have-a-go area for axe throwing - something for all ages!
  • An artisan market
  • Food & drink vendors plus a bar by Black Market Venue for over 18s
  • Bouncy castles by Bounce-Alot
  • Vanaheim Vikings of York putting on a living history encampment

We are still working on what more we can bring to the event so keep an eye out for more information in the run up to the big weekend.

Site is open 10am to 5pm each day.

Kids aged 5 and under go free. (Just let us know how many you plan on bringing during ordering please).

Prices on the gate will be more expensive.

All under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

Some attractions will be chargeable on the day.

On site parking will be available in the field next to the racecourse. 

Entrance is only by the main gate.

No alcohol is allowed to be brought in to the site.

The racetrack is strictly off limits.

We are allowing dogs but we just ask that responsible ownership behaviours are followed.

They must be kept on a lead at all times, they must be cleaned up after and also be kept under control. If the dog is being a nuisance/noisy you may be asked to leave.
